News from Rita Kirkman

Rita Kirkman's painting "Cowgirl" has been accepted to the 25th Annual Bosque Art Classic at the Bosque Arts Center in Cliffton, Texas, this September 11-26.








And, Kirkman won Best in Category (Drawing/Pastel) with her booth at the Rockport Art Festival earlier this summer, July 2010.

    Congratulations,Rita! I love your work and try to follow what's happening with you when I can. I recently created my very first piece without the help of an instructor! I submitted it to a juried show and got declined. But my attitude is, "One contest down, millions to go!" Thanks for sharing your work and accomplishments. You are an inspiration to all of us.
